The purpose of the Evidence section of this website is to show a few of the documents which attorney Tim Hanna and I searched for and discovered on file in the National Archives, during our visit in the summer of 2007. The documents below are electronic images of the copies we made of the original documents, which remain on file in the Archives.

In 1976, the House Select Committee alleged FBI and or Secret Service withheld information relating to J. A. Milteer's recorded threat to assassinate President Kennedy. (above) PDF version |

10:30 AM telephone call on Nov. 22, 1963, by Milteer to Sommersett in Miami from Dallas. Milteer said, “I don't think you will ever see your boy again in Miami.” Miami PD intelligence officer states, “It's no use to tell the FBI about this, because they won't do anything about it anyway.” (above) PDF version |

John Marshall, Special Agent in Charge of the Miami Secret Service office on Feb. 22, 1978, furnished a statement to the Select Committee on Assassinations twice during his interview mentioned that for all he knew someone in the Secret Service could possibly have been involved in the assassination.
This is not the first time an agent has mentioned the possibility that a conspiracy existed. (above) PDF version |

Copy of FBI memo dated Nov. 27, 1963, Miami, contains source information that reads on Nov 23, 1963, J.A. Milteer was in the Union train station, Jacksonville, Florida at about 1:25 PM on that date stating that he was very jubilant over the death of President Kennedy. “Everything ran through to form.” Third memo once again reflects information of Milteer's telephone call at 10:30 AM on the morning of Nov. 22, 1963. 5:45 PM Atlanta teletype to Director and SAC's Dallas and Miami states, “Milteer's whereabouts at Quitman , Georgia this date ascertained and Secret Service advised.” Secret Service document dated Nov. 22, 1963, states that FBI Agent Charles Harding contacted their agent at Thomasville, who ascertained that day
that J. A. Milteer was in Quitman at the time of assassination. On page two of that document it states that Agent Harding, again determined on Monday morning the Nov. 25, 1963, that the above named subjects "Milteer" were accounted for locally. (above) |

Nov. 9, 1963 of the intelligent unit of the Miami Police Department,” underlined in red. Under “Subject” it reads, “from an office building with a high-power rifle” and is also underlined, “Informant", "They are really going to try to kill him?", "Subject", and "Oh yeah, It is in the working." On page five it reads, “In Washington, of course it is the wrong time of the year, but you take pleasant weather, he comes out on the veranda, and somebody could be in a hotel room across the way there, and pick him off. The first document, above left, is a teletype dated Dec. 10, 1963, at 9:05 PM with both the date and the time circled in red. ln the lower portion of that teletype reads, "surveillance of Milteer being left to discretion of Bureau and Atlanta. "The second is a copy of a teletype, with only one half of the document and it is dated Dec. 10, 1963, circled in red.
Next to it, circled in red, is a time, 10:32 PM underlined in red. it reads, “Atlanta recommends against any surveillance of Milteer” and beneath that, “no surveillance being conducted by Atlanta.” And again underlined in red, is a memorandum to the director of the FBI from Herbert J. Miller Jr., Assistant Attorney General criminal division, which is circled in red, dated Jan. 30, 1964. (above) PDF version
