My Message for You...
Dear Website Visitor,
For you, as a visitor to this website, it is very important that I spell out as a predication the strong opinion that I deeply hold regarding the murder on November 22, 1963 of President John F. Kennedy. In looking back over the past 45 years, I feel deeply in my heart that God chose me for the investigation of Joseph Adams Milteer, a prime suspect in the murder of President Kennedy. The work I have been doing, am doing now and will do in the future is for Him.
I believe on that day our world was changed and has never been the same since. We lost those freedoms and privileges that were so precious to us for the many years prior to that November 22 date. Before his murder occurred our society was open and carefree. We lived in houses where the windows were screened and open, screen doors were unlocked and we left and came back without locking and securing our homes. We came and went with little concern about somebody doing something wrong within our domain. We knew all of our neighbors on both sides of our homes and those that lived across the street. We visited with each other both day and night, sat and chit-chatted on the porches, enjoying our times together. We trusted each other like family and were secure in our thoughts and feelings.
Once President Kennedy was murdered, all of those things immediately changed. Our society likewise changed and those securities that we actually took for granted no longer existed.
When the Chief Executive of our nation is murdered then nothing is sacred anymore. If the president can be murdered then no one is exempt.
I’m sure that the general public doesn’t give a direct thought to that. But, today security, privilege and freedom are gone. Windows and doors are locked. Front porches have disappeared. And, those neighborly visits have nearly ended. Distrust has penetrated deeper into our lives. After his murder, people began to distrust each other more and more and crime seemed to flourish. Subconsciously, men and women began to realize that they were fair game and no longer had the protection of friendships that they had before.
Let’s travel in time, from November of 1963 forward and look at the world that we live in now. Look back and see what has happened to our world over these past 45 years.
What I see is very plain in my mind. The question we must ask ourselves is: Will it ever get better?
As I have stated over and over and will continue to do so, I loved my work with the FBI and feel very privileged to have worked with the dedicated and devoted persons who lived by the oath they had taken. My investigation is not an indictment of the FBI or of the many wonderful persons who worked and continue to work in the Bureau. However, I feel my investigation is an indictment of those very few who violated the principles and values that are the creed that each of us is charged with.
I consider the assassination of President John Fitzgerald Kennedy as one of the most challenging and important matters for investigation in the history of our country. I feel that we as a nation have an obligation to put forth every effort to lift the lid of secrecy and deception and to air this matter. In all aspects we need to give our citizens as well as people throughout the world, who share an interest for the truth, as much of the total truth as possible.
Isn't it time for people to begin the outcry and demand that a proper and detailed investigation begin?
While we have lost a lot over these past 45 years, it is, in fact, never too late to start.
What will we accomplish by doing so?
Well, imagine with me: if it's possible to obtain the truth, we just might begin to change the balance away from the self-centered world we have become toward one with a little more respect for one another.
Acknowledgements
There are a number of people that I want to offer special recognition for their friendships and what they have done when we became occupied with the very involved and length process of presenting my views and beliefs concerning the murder of President John F. Kennedy.
The most important person to be recognized is my wife, Jeanette, and our children Jeff, Dawn, Mark and Doug, for their sacrifices that they have made, always affording me the freedom to do all that I have to do over my adult life. Without their patience and understanding this task would have been insurmountable.
I'm going to try to put this in order as to the people who became involved and offer a brief comment about them. Larry Dannemiller, a family friend, was kind and thoughtful enough to send me a book in 1993 entitled, High Treason , co-authored by Groden and Livingston. That book changed my life dramatically with the information that it contained concerning Joseph Adams Milteer.
Carl Chancellor, reporter, for his factual article in the Akron Beacon Journal on the Thirtieth Anniversary of the murder of the President.
Deanie Richards, author of JFK Honor Guard who visited with me and was a major incentive to begin the long journey of the Kennedy story while I was Chief at the Fairlawn Police Department. She will always be special in doing what she did for me by providing me with vast amount of written material, much of which led me to the documents in the files of the National Archiives.
Dr. Jeffrey Caufield, who is writing a book on the assassination, and Andy Kiel, both of whom have been very interested and helpful to me as very good friends in providing copies of documents, which led me to those vital documents at the National Archives.
Jody Miller, of the Bath Country Journal, who has always been a very special friend to me and has written very informative articles about my involvement in this matter.
Bob Dyer, a friend and also a reporter for the Akron Beacon Journal , who wrote an excellent article on the Fortieth Anniversary of the President's murder.
Oliver Stone, who produced a movie, entitled “JFK,” which I believe tells the true story on what happened in the killing of Kennedy. That movie was a strong inspiration to me to keep me going on my project.
Jim Fetzer, author of Murder at Dealey Plaza , which I believe really tells the story. I learned a lot form that book, which helps me stay strong in my conviction.
Attorney Timothy H. Hanna, Parker, Leiby, Hanna & Rasnick, LLC., is a very special friend, who I look upon as someone almost like a son. He was there for me form the beginning by being very supportive and encouraging in my endeavor. He became so interested in working with me that the two of us went to the National Archives in Washington, D.C. and he assisted me in locating important and essential documents. Tim has worked tirelessly researching, writing, editing and directing my video tape, which is now being prepared by Tom Baker, Owner, and Jim Torok, Production Manger of Mirror Image, Video and Photography.
Ron Baker, media relations & marketing pro Ron Baker, Marketing Communications Counsel, Inc., is a very special friend who works very close with me regarding the strong interest of mine about Kennedy's killing. Ron has worked diligently and professionally, writing, editing and designing my PowerPoint presentations and this website. He works with me almost daily, continually editing and adding to my website.
Dr. Dale and Mary Jean Leonhardt, special family friends, who have always been totally supportive and have provided me with several books dealing with the assassination.
Larmar Waldron, author of Ultimate Sacrifice , which I am presently reading and learning more about the planned assassination of Kennedy in Chicago and Tampa, in the very same month that the President was murdered in Dallas.
There are so many other people that I could include in this writing for their friendships and support in my involvement in the Kennedy murder, yet I mentioned the above people, who from the beginning, played major roles in putting me on the path to hopefully surface the known wrongdoings in this matter.
Thank you for visiting our website.
Sincerely,
Don Adams |
